Written Description: The Russian born Vladmir was born into a time of strife in his country, a time where rebellion and revolts were common sites in the streets and where books and fliers published and read by the young boy were about the events going on right outside is window. However in his time Vladmir has also seen a lot of violence and because of this is a brooder by nature, often coming off as cold at first meet. That's not the only way his experiences as a youth effected Vladmir, thanks to the rebellion he's a literature major and also the team member who will often question the morals of what the team does which sometimes leads to confrontation with other teammates (Spartan in particular). He is however very involved with his student, stressing their roles as mutants and as citizens and integrating current events with his teachings. Although his attitude and good looks, to his digression, have led to a lot of attention from his female students

Also, he can’t force people to do anything physically that he is incapable of doing, such as a mutant power or martial arts.

Biography: Mark grew up in Las Vegas without a father in his life. His mother took care of him and loved him, even when his abilities were discovered. That was when his father returned, abusing his son’s power to make a lot of cash at casinos. Then people got suspicious of Mark and wanted him tested for the X-gene.
To save him from prosecution, his mother sent Mark away to New Haven Academy at age 14 where he would be accepted for his abilities. Mark is often shifty and deceitful while at school, but still extremely sociable with his peers. Mark often avoids physical combat by running away, trapping people, or using his mutant powers.

About a year ago his sister developed her powers in a crazy way, she suddenly shot a beam of light through her wall. Their parents, who were anti-mutant, demanded she leave the house. But Drake decided to show his powers and told them if they were going to kick her out, they'll have to kick him out too.
Their parents did exactly that and kicked them both out, leaving them nothing but the clothes on their back and a few dollars. The two of them wandered around aimlessly for a while, finding shelter where they could, until eventually they found themselves in front of the New Haven academy. They were instantly taken in and given refuge, and have been there ever since. He has gained full control of his powers and a lot of new friends. He keeps close watch and protects his little sister and hates the parents that chose to shun them. He has come to believe that he has become more powerful because he is fueled with hatred, but he doesn't let anyone close to him know that, not even Fayth.

He can't use two or more powers at the same time, and can actually be prone to large migraines if there are a number of different powers being used around him at once.

Biography: A 17 year old boy originally residing in North Carolina, he discovered his power when a new kid arrived at the school with the power to fly. Having found himself floating once while in his presence, he originally thought the power was his. But, in an attempt to fly on his own that night at his house, he was only able to hover a few feet off the ground. He tried again the next at school, causing quite a stur among students, but quickly spiraling out of control as he flew away from the kid who the ability belonged too.
Soon after he learnt of the New Haven Academy, and was happy to accept their invitation. Upon succumbing to a massive headache and fainting upon arrival at the Academy, he began to learn just what an interesting and problematic power he has.
He is actually very happy with his powers, and loves to show them off when the situation allows. After his episode with attempting to control them though, he has a large fear of trying to use them outside of the original owner's presence. He's also usually carrying around multiple bottles of aspirin, to help with the headaches and migraines he often gets while staying at the Academy.

Personality: Roger is a very analytic person, but not in the usual sense. He is very quiet, preferring to observe rather than interact. This odd persona makes Roger a character among his peers; he knows a lot of people but doesn't talk to many of them; it actually takes a lot for him to open his mouth. During combat he can wait for hours on end for an opening in the opponent's defense. This, combined with his power, make Roger Raines a bad ass mother fucker. What? Did you except "a force to be reckoned with"?
Description: Marks on cheeks are the substance that rapidly expand to cover his whole body. Think of the marks as deposits of the mineral-substance stated in below
Biography: Born in raised with a family full of hippies, Raines came accustom to a mellow life-style. When Raines hit puberty, it was discovered that he also had the mutant gene, and he suddenly woke up one morning with marks on his face. He knew he was a mutant due to his sister, who also grew mutant powers.
In response, his parents took a mellow view about it. When his older sister grew her mutant powers, at first Roger's parents didn't know what to do with her. However, when they found out the extreme anti-mutant hate, they became one of the only humans to embrace the new mutants as fellow beings, taking up a "just because they aren't part of our species doesn't mean anything" stance. This alienated Roger's sister, Mary, who soon convinced her parents to let her go to the New Haven Academy. Soon after, Roger left for the academy, and he hasn't seen his sister yet. He continued to wonder where she really is.
As a side note, Roger's parents stopped sending him letters after they said they were going to protest a speech made by the mayor of his home town about mutants being a menace. Roger heard there were many fatalities at this protest, and it worries him.

After spending nearly two years alone, Jin was able to grasp some control over his powers, being able transmute items with ease, but still had difficulty understanding how his power worked.
With his newfound power, Jin had a very easy time stealing from others, and obtaining money. He eventually went on to form his own gang known as the Fangs. One night after one of his gangs major heists, cops raided his gang’s hideout. Though Jin was able to take down many cops with his powers, he was eventually overwhelmed and taken into custody, along with most of his comrades. Facing a life sentence in holding, Jin was approached one day by a man from the Xander and Viera institution, a school for people like himself. In exchange for his obedience, and enrollment into the school the man offered to pardon his sentence. Having no other choice Jin took the man up on his offer and became a student at the institution.

Description: Wears a mask over her mouth that filters out her breathing, giving her rather loud breathing. Wears sunglasses as her eyes do not take too kindly to too much light. Short grey hair covered in a backwards cap, wears generally heavy clothing.
Biography: A young lady plagued by constant coughing and sneezes, Avery has spent most of her life popping meds and such just to survive, never knowing she was a mutant until a few years ago. Discovering such, she began to read stories of the Superheroes and the war against crime, becoming inspired by tales of triumph against odds. Hearing of an academy for Mutants, she decided to go, hoping to control her powers so at least she won't be constantly sick.
Avery generally believed that every day could be her last and sees her constant survival as a big "fuck you" to the powers that be. As such she will fight for her life and do anything at all to survive. A life of quarantine has left her somewhat withdrawn as an individual, though she hopes that the mutants could help her and does wish for companionship. Often tries to gain companionship through developing a sense of humor, coming off as acerbic instead at times.

Since entering high school it was common for him to wake up with portions of his bed on fire, but he did everything he could to hide his powers from his family and friends. He was a nice and gentle in his younger years, but at the age of 15 his life changed forever. Spending a night alone with his girlfriend (Shera), the two ran into the woods laughing and simply being kids. Stopping in a clear field they kissed under the moonlight in a romantic atmosphere until Shera began to scream in pain. Opening his eyes with his arms around her, Zek was a human torch and so was Shera. Her entire body was covered head to toe in flames until she stopped screaming and died within seconds. Unable to turn his fire off, Zek cried running off into the vast forest until he drained himself and passed out.
Waking naked and in a charred circle, Zek made the decision to run away from his life, and start a new at New Haven. Days later, he arrived at the gates of New Haven, but that would be the last time the current students saw him for several years. Having a private discussion with Xander and Viera, Zek agreed to enlist in New Haven under the condition that he be isolated from the student body until he feels that he can control his ability well enough to interact with people again. 3 years later, Ezekiel is about to make his first appearance as a regular student feeling that he can now turn on and off his power at will. His time in isolation has caused him some trouble with people skills; he has grown a bit improper and rude around people.

Biography: For almost her entire life, Fayth had lived a completely normal life with her parents and brother Drake. She made good grades, was very intelligent, and seemed to have a very bright future ahead of her... However, a year ago, something extremely out of the ordinary completely changed her life. While she was sitting in bed reading a book, what seemed to be a giant white laser shot out in front of her and destroyed a large portion of her wall. This of course alerted her parents and brother, who rushed into the room to see what happened. Fayth, who was in hysterics about what had just occured, told them all exactly what happened. Her parents instantly realized that she had just developed mutant powers. Unfortunately for her, her parents were very openly anti-mutant, and even occassionally joined in anti-mutant rallies and such, and were furious and disgusted with her; so much that they immediately told her to leave home and never return. However, at that moment Fayth's older brother Drake stepped in and revealed that he too had mutant powers, and that if they were going to kick her out, they would have to kick him out too.
Their parents did exactly that and kicked them both out, leaving them nothing but the clothes on their back and a few dollars. The two of them wandered around aimlessly for a while, finding shelter where they could, until eventually they found themselves in front of the New Haven academy. They were instantly taken in and given refuge, and have been there ever since. However, Fayth still has little to no control over her powers, and has the tendancy to shoot off light blasts without even realizing it. This, along with the other horrible things she had to deal with, such as her parents litterally hating her, and losing all of her friends as well as any future she had in mind, has caused her to become somewhat fragile in nature. While most of the time she is as happy and playful as any other teenage girl, she also has times where she just completely shuts down and shuns the entire world, even her brother, who she is obviously extremely close to after what happened.

Power: Living Disease, can induce sickness within anybody a certain range of her but has poor control over this ability and could potentially infect an entire room, can create acidic slime to fling from his hands and can vomit a wave of acid.
Description: Wears a mask over her mouth that filters out her breathing, giving her rather loud breathing. Wears sunglasses as her eyes do not take too kindly to too much light. Short grey hair covered in a backwards cap, wears generally heavy clothing.
Biography: A young lady plagued by constant coughing and sneezes, Avery has spent most of her life popping meds and such just to survive, never knowing she was a mutant until a few years ago. Discovering such, she began to read stories of the Superheroes and the war against crime, becoming inspired by tales of triumph against odds. Hearing of an academy for Mutants, she decided to go, hoping to control her powers so at least she won't be constantly sick.
Avery generally believed that every day could be her last and sees her constant survival as a big "fuck you" to the powers that be. As such she will fight for her life and do anything at all to survive. A life of quarantine has left her somewhat withdrawn as an individual, though she hopes that the mutants could help her and does wish for companionship. Often tries to gain companionship through developing a sense of humor, coming off as acerbic instead at times.

Power: The ability to engulf self in concentrated fire. The almost magma looking fire can cover his body and things he touches such as weapons or other people (he can grab someone and set them on fire). When his body is completely engulfed, he can fly.

Zek, like other mutants hated being different and having powers at first. Since entering high school it was common for him to wake up with portions of his bed on fire, but he did everything he could to hide his powers from his family and friends. He was a nice and gentle in his younger years, but at the age of 15 his life changed forever. Spending a night alone with his girlfriend (Shera), the two ran into the woods laughing and simply being kids. Stopping in a clear field they kissed under the moonlight in a romantic atmosphere until Shera began to scream in pain. Opening his eyes with his arms around her, Zek was a human torch and so was Shera. Her entire body was covered head to toe in flames until she stopped screaming and died within seconds. Unable to turn his fire off, Zek cried running off into the vast forest until he drained himself and passed out.
Waking naked and in a charred circle, Zek made the decision to run away from his life, and start a new at New Haven. Days later, he arrived at the gates of New Haven, but that would be the last time the current students saw him for several years. Having a private discussion with Xander and Viera, Zek agreed to enlist in New Haven under the condition that he be isolated from the student body until he feels that he can control his ability well enough to interact with people again. 3 years later, Ezekiel is about to make his first appearance as a regular student feeling that he can now turn on and off his power at will. His time in isolation has caused him some trouble with people skills; he has grown a bit improper and rude around people.

Power: Somewhat like a vampire, drinking blood only to recharge his body. Has the ability to Manipulate his own blood and blood he has drank in many ways and forms. Like swords, and other shapes that he desires (it must be possible with only blood and nothing else, the form it takes is concentrated). Of course it is his own blood, if he loses too much he could die.

Biography: Step brother to Lillian, was born in secret and raised by his mother elsewhere for the first years of his life. Upon learning about his father who left his mother for another women at birth. Wanting revenge he left to kill his father but become VERY close to his new found sister and changed his mind. His power is related to blood and people who see him call him a vampire for it. Only his sister and mother accepts him, and for that reason he wants to protect them with every drop of blood in his being.
