Theo was about halfway through the line to get on the bus. It was entirely ordinary - yellow, with black trim and black words that said "New Haven Academy" on the side - and that threw him off a little bit. He had learned he was a mutant not that long ago, and he looked around at the occupants of the bus. Save a few who had obvious mutations, such as a boy with a third eye in the back of the bus, it looked like any other high school bus would, passengers included. Even the bus driver, in his dark blue uniform, seemed as plain as could be.
"I was expecting the extraordinary,"[/color] he thought somewhat glumly, sitting in an empty seat in front of a babyfaced girl tucked shyly against the wall in her seat and a chubby Asian kid sitting next to her, playing a Nintendo DS. He turned around to engage the pair.
"So what are you guys in for?" he joked, smiling. The girl shook her head with in a meek decline to respond. Theo frowned, but quickly turned to her seatmate.
"Oh, I can change colors," the kid responded, not looking up from his DS. He quickly turned into the dark green of the seat, his hair and eyes included. Only his clothing and DS would give away he was sitting there if Theo wasn't so close.

OOC: And we're off! Until (most likely) this evening, we will just be enjoying a bus ride, getting to know each other. Don't feel forced to show your powers, as there will be AMPLE opportunity where it isn't much of an option. Normal bus, going through the countryside, towards NHA.

Raines, reading an epic novel by Ayn Rand called Atlas Shrugged. In reality, he wasn't really reading it too much. He was paying attention to everybody's actions, everybody's movements and everybody's speech patterns the best he could. Gathering information in his noggin, he had the biggest idea of who the person sitting next to him was because, of course, she wouldn't shut up.
"Oh my god, no way? He did that to you? I can totally sympathize with you! Wow, and he screwed your sister? Wow. Wow. This is so heavy." The girl had a sharp Czechoslovakian accent and looked younger then the boy sitting next to her. From Raines opinion, Nadya seemed like your typical girl. Nothing different whatsoever. Going back to his book, he continued reading, pleased.

The bus had slowed, coming to a halt before a stop where a boy stood at; a black back pack upon him with an Almost red, white, and black board tucked under his arm, and a red and black snow board tied upon the back of his back pack. The blue haired boy smirked as the doors opened; allowing him to board.
He climbed the three little steps and boarded the bus, walking down the aisle ever so confidently.
"They're DC's."He smirked at a girl that had obviously been checking him out.
Making his way to the back of the bus where all the cool kids sat he threw his bag in the empty seat that was all the way in the back and to the left.
"What up Ace!" A blond haired boy asked, pushing his hair out of his eyes so he could see his friend.
"Not much. You?"
"Not much, you ready for school?"
"Dude hell yea!! I can't WAIT to get back to the ladies bra, you?"
"Same thing bra!" He responded, the two high fiving.

Today was the first day of his reentry into a school system Zek was a bit older than most of the students but he had never attended any type of classroom atmosphere inside of New Haven. He most focused by himself in a basement dwelling hidden from the others. Walking cautiously in the hallways he peered around corners trying to make himself comfortable with his surroundings. It had been years since he stepped outside his personal room.

OOC: So Zeke's on campus right now? I can have a professor interact with him.
-----
"You guys went to NHA last year?" Theo asked of the two noisy and excited teens. He was also excited by the prospects, especially the girls part. He turned to look at them, knees in his seat and arms below his chin, resting on the back of the leather bench-like chair.
"What's it like?" he queried excitedly.

Ace looked at where the voice was coming from, just now noticing someone was near. It was a bad habit of his, ignoring anyone that wasn't a smoking babe or a great friend. Placing his sun glasses on the top of his head, he smirked. He remembered his first time coming to school. It was quite funny to him when he saw the new kids and how scared they were. He never understood it. Even when he started high school at a public university for non-mutants he wasn't nervous and more excited about the new experience. Hearing the voice of the boy was refreshing to for once have someone that was excited to start ask him.
"It's wicked. The babes are smoking, the teachers are pretty cool aside from some jack asses that actually expect you to do your homework, and it's a big area so we have a lot of room outside to do stuff. Like I would skip third block a lot last year and either skate or snow board. It's pretty bitchen actually." He smirked, turning back to his friend but quickly turning back to the other kid as he remembered the most important part of NHA. "AND," He emphasized the beginning. "Most girls are DTF. If you don't know what that means yet, don't worry you'll learn." He smirked.

Robbie uttered a small 'eep' as the bus stopped in front of his stop. He fidgited with his black neck-tie as the doors swung open allowing him entrance. He had been staying with his aunt until the start of his first school year at New Haven Academy and this was really the first time in the first few months he'd be stuck in an enviorment with people his own age.
"Uh hi..." he muttered to the bus driver who gave him a friendly smile back. Robbie shrugged his back pack over his shoulder as he took an empty seat in front of a tall black haired boy, metallic looking marks on his cheek.

As Raines noted the young boy who sat in front of him, he smirked. From initial impressions, Roger could gather he was a shy boy, but eager for social integration. He wasn't an introvert, but a normal boy; just shy. He decided to stand up on the bus and tap him on the shoulder.
"Yo." He said, trying to keep it as short as possible. He hated starting a conversation.

Theo grinned. "D-T-F..." he said, with a mild reverence for the idea, "I think I read you, pal. I'm so pumped for this!"
"Hey, sit down!" the bus driver yelled with a firm tone. He looked up in his mirror as he drove, surveying all that was his to command. "This is the biggest class NHA has ever had, and there's going to be lots of new things this year, so you SHOULD be excited!" The driver let out a full and hearty laugh.
Plopping back into his seat momentarily, Theo found time to situate his torso sideways so he might continue to talk to his girl-crazy brethren, "So what do you guys do?"
-----
"Good to see you up and about, Ezekiel," said a fatherly voice from behind him. Walt Winters emerged from a door into the hallway, armed with a winning smile, "Excited for this year?" He was dressed in a red button up shirt and white pants, but it appeared as if he wasn't done getting dressed yet, since he wasn't wearing shoes.

By this point Ace's friend was asleep in his seat seeing as he was one of the first one's on the bus.
"More of like what don't we do." He joked. "I'm usually chilling with girls, making out with them, banging them, you know normal teen guy behavior. When I'm not doing that I'm usually skating, snow boarding, making bad ass ice jumps and slides. We throw parties every weekend in my dorm whenever we can sneak alcohol onto the campus. Ummm, in between that I'm sleeping and showing up to class when I can or decide not to skip."

Zek was startled by the noise behind him and turned making a fist only to drop his guard seeing one of his teachers. "I'm in a school filled with adolescent teenagers that have the power to destroy a planet. I don't feel too excited." Zek was a bit nervous about his first time back in society again, but at the same time he wasn't to happy to be around kids. He felt that his time alone had matured him, but really it just made him a bit insensitive.
"How do you guys know some kid won't just lose it and blow this place up?"

"We don't," came Walt's chuckling reply, as he approached his anxious charge, "but nobody has yet. Unless you count when Diane first got here and..." He looked at Zek's face, and saw the trepidation and immediately changed the topic.
"Nevermind, story for another time. But your fears, while logical, should be at ease. We've got preparations for even the worst of the worst situations, and besides, you have us." He beamed.
"The other students will be here soon, so try to relax. You don't want to frighten to new ones."
-----
While Theo certainly liked the sound of this wanton and wild lifestyle, he couldn't help but his curiosity continue to poke.
"I meant..." he said, his voice lowering slightly, dramatizing his question, "what are you powers?" He grinned. He was in a state of constant excitement about the trip, and all the new things.

“OMG HE WAS LIKE…AND I WAS LIKE…AND HE WAS LIKE…AND SO I LIKE…” “NO WAY!” “WAY!” “NO WAY!” “WAY!!!” “OMG!!!!”
The spirited chirping kept cutting through the metal-core that blared through Chloe’s ipod. She’d tried her best to ignore the airhead chatter but enough was enough! With a sigh, Chloe pulled out her ear-buds and sat up straight, shooting a look at her friend, Jennifer who sat beside her. Jennifer, a spunky redhead, was busy flirting with the boy in front of her, pretending that she found his horrible zealous freestyling incredibly interesting. Chloe nudged her friend and jerked her head at the loud twins behind them, but Jennifer shrugged and shrieked a high cackle and batted her eyelashes at Jay, who now was hopping around in what could only be interpreted as some sort of a dance.
"WAY?!?!" "NO WAY?!?!"
Chloe cringed and knew right then that if she wanted something done, she'd have to do it her damn self. Turning around in her seat, she glanced over the back of her chair and shoot a cool gaze at the gushing twins. It didn’t take them long to notice who they'd bothered. They quickly sat back, wide eyed and apologetic,
“OMG sorry Chloe!” “We didn’t mean to wake you, Chloe!” “Chloe, do you have a roommate, yet?” “No merci, but I will keep you in mind,” the cool eyed brunette replied through her thick French accent before turning back around and putting her ear-buds back in.
Chloe cleared her throat and pulled her sunglasses down just as a few paper balls shot over her seat followed by testosterone filled “oooing” and squeaky giggling. Why is it that the back of the bus is always so rowdy? Lawl.

"I'm just as much a new one as they are." Zek replied as he looked around still confused with the layout of the building. "The only difference is the fact that I have a coat and underwear that don't burn." He stated as he grabbed the sides of his coat and pulled on it.
"I'm just gonna walk around a bit more, hopefully I can figure this place out." With that Zek had moved on and was again walkign in and out of the rooms looking around.

Suddenly, Chole's iPodin' was disturbed once again by the same type of chatter.
"I know, I know. Tod's such a jerk. You should totally dump him. I know! Guys are SO mean. It's like all they want is sex. I know!" Chole recognized the voice as Nadya Starosta, a young girl who she had met a long time ago. They weren't friends, they didn't talk, but they knew of their co-existence. Nadya was sitting three rows behind her.

Mark sat in the front of the bus with a pair of earbuds in. He listened to a bit of music, staring back at all of the students. Most of them looked scared for their life or pretended to be cool and ready to get some mutant ass. This bus ride had to be the most unbearable part of going back to New Haven.
Mark recognized the some people in the back and decided to have some fun. He nodded at a few first years, getting their attention, "stay away from that blue haired one in the back," He whispered, "Rumor has it that eating people is his ability...three mutants disappeared when he got stressed during midterms but the Professors covered it up,"
The first years chattered amongst themselves and some scooted up to two rows away. Mark smiled a bit and leaned back again. The new kids were always so damn gullible, and he certainly didn't mind messing with the ice boy, or any of his peers, "Who needs mind control when dealing with high schoolers," He sighed and turned up the music.

Fayth sat somewhere near the middle of the bus on the window side, looking out the window into the world beyond; the world that she knew she could probably never be a part of again. Her slender frame was leaned against the wall of the bus as her thoughts drifted away to other things as if she was in a trance- and despite all the noise and commotion around her, she didn't seem to notice or be bothered by any of it, until the bus suddenly made a rather abrupt strop to pick up someone. She jumped slightly in suprise, leaning off the wall and looking around as if she had just woken up. Sighing quietly, she leaned back on the uncomfortable bus cushions and looked to her left, where her brother Drake sat, not saying a word, as usual.
Fayth let out a yawn suddenly and realized that she hadn't slept for a while and that it was finally catching up to her. Lately, even more than usual she had been cursed with severe insomnia and had been spending her nights just thinking about her life and well... Everything.
"Drake?" the girl spoke out softly, gently leaning her body on him and closing her tired eyes. "Are we almost there?"

Ezekiel had walked in circles around the school several times before giving up on his rounds and standing in front of the building. "All of them are gonna come from here right?" He asked himself as he turned back to look at the quite halls of New Haven. A bit scared about his past experience with other people, Zek held his hand out in front of him and lit his hand on and off fire over and over again, testing his control.

Yun had her head rested against the window as she slept for the whole ride. The bus bumped every once in a while, causing her head to periodically tap against the window, but that didn't wake her. She had a long day before this very morning, and couldn't help but take a snooze during the trip. But all the noise in the bus eventually roused her from slumber. It was a shame that though her powers had something to do with adjusting sound, it didn't come "pre-packaged" with the option to lower it. Groggily swaying her head away from the glass, she pressed her head against the back of the seat and just stared at the roof of the vehicle, trying to ignore the voices around her.

"Everyone calm down back there before I get angry!" barked the bus driver, "We're almost there! This is the nearest town to the Academy, Allorville, where you will get to come on off days or when you're allowed off campus. So take in its landmarks, now."
Outside the window was a town, probably about 6 stop lights in the whole place. There was a coffee shop, a middle school, a movie theater, a somewhat out of place upscale restaurant with small town charm, and a few bars and clubs. Other than that, a few small town shops for clothes, food, and the like were all that the town had to offer aside from its population.

Drake looked down to his little sister, she looked exhausted. "I don't know...maybe..." he put his arm around her. "You should try to sleep, it'll make the bus ride go by even faster. Since he got his powers he could run on little sleep seeing that night time was usually his time. He started to get a little bored of the ride. "I wish they would hurry though, I mean how many effin kids could possibly fit on here..." he said a little antsy. He really wished he could stretch his shadow a bit, it was getting a little painful.

The bus stopped in front of Calvin as he hopped on, unsure of what awaited him. He smiled at the bus driver, but as soon as he turned toward the crowd of students filling the bus, his head was near immediately shot with a strong headache. He held his head in one hand, and fumbled in his pocket with his other as he eventually pulled out some Aspirin, popping two in an instant as he let their effects kick in.
He looked around the bus in an awkward fashion, no doubt his sudden migraine made a bit of a scene. He slowly walked down the bus, unsure of where to sit. He was slightly hoping some friendly person would invite him to sit with him, but Calvin knew how teenagers could be sometimes.

"Hey dude, you alright?" Theo asked the staggering guy who had just gotten on the bus. He looked like he was either dizzy or in some sort of pain. "Maybe he can't control his powers and he's about to shoot lasers at all of us!" he thought.
