The scene melted away and the boys found themselves in the CATT, not even the handcuffs existed anymore, proving they'd been one Professor Snow's illusions. The doors of the CATT opened and Diane's voice crackled from the loud speaker,
"You two are late for Assembly, head there right now, not that it may matter anyway, since you two will be going home by the end of the week,"
The loudspeaker shut off and the CATT lit up, shining the pathway to the exit. After a few moments of silence, it was clear that Snow had left. She wasn't going to baby those boys despite how beat up they were. Better yet, she'd left them to ponder the implications of her last words-expulsion.

Kalina nodded to Mark as he held her. She finally gained the courage and said, "Good luck with teams today..." She then got up and made her way towards Chloe, who of course seemed to not the least bit phased by all of this. She steered clear of Harpy's line of vision, choosing to peak at Chloe from behind the other Team Captain, Calvin. Kalina hadn't really interacted with Calvin but she thought he was the most approachable senior here despite him keeping weird company like Angelique.

OOC: Disregard my last post, I don't even remember posting it. -------------
Not remembering what he did last night Chaz had stayed in his seat and not gone and make a wall of earth after all. His interest was peaked however with the mention of capture the flag. He used to play that back in elementary school with he and his friends. It kind of fizzled out however when they all gained interest in football.
He loved playing center field, but that was besides the point. This school was getting more and more interesting. He thought once the teams were mentioned they were going to be doing scrimmage type things and scenarios. Along with lots and lots of reading. But this, this was much more interesting.
He tilted his head to the side to where the sound of an angry french woman was. She had a strong accent which meant she must have been the one that gang leader was talking about the night before. Interesting. His head made its' way back as he noticed other teams gathering. He had no idea of how he was going to find his team. Then it hit him. He remembered being told one of the professors had telepathy which meant she could read minds. He just hoped she would read his mind.
'So I heard that you can read minds...um sorry I forgot your name but I know you can read minds Mrs. Professor and my name is Chaz Izzenhurt the 3rd and I'm new here so I really don't know where my team is. If you could tell me where that would be great. Sorry for giving you my whole name, just not sure if anyone else here is named Chaz.'

Avery remembered the first time they did a "Team Building Excercise". She ended up passing out in a hospital. Maybe it would be different this time around. At least this time around they have what seem to be people more willing to help each other. "I think... We can do it. I know it. Besides, the most successful teams always come in fives, with Hein being our leader, me being a second-in-command type I guess, Genji being the feisty go-getter, Fayth as the soul of the team and... I'm sure Cheshire has something to contribute..."
Meanwhile, Phil was casually leaning back on his chair, content that at least he wasn't stuck to a team. He knew what it was like being a team leader for him. It wasn't for him. Standing up, he walked to the microphone and said... "Well, children... Congratulations on those who are in a team. Do try not to kill each other, the paperwork involved will be troublesome. Those of you who did not get picked for a team... Well, do try to find realize that although we are all equal, some are more equal than others."

OoC: Disregard my last post, as Chaz apparently didn't do any fancy stuff with a wall...and stuff. ---------------------------------- Jay decided just to stay seated, as everyone was getting into their groups and they'd round up the stragglers afterward anyway. He propped his legs up on the chair in front of him and waited for his assigned team faculty member to show up. ----------------------------------

OOC: People need to be ready to play their various side characters and NPCs, as Samson and Snow's teams will be against each other. If anyone wants to volunteer to play Rave, since that guy completely disappeared, please do, because I don't really want yet another character. Sora will also need to be played - you can imagine he's a better and more confident leader than before.
Winters, once again, began speaking.
"If you look at the rules, you'll see the list is short. You'll be in the CATT rooms, where a simulation will be placed, with each team on opposite ends. There will be a flag. Find a place to put it. You can use your powers to their full effect. The first team to take the other team's flag and returned to their starting location will be the winner. The only other rule is that any time you are in possession of the flag (this includes even if you're NOT touching it, but have it with you), your powers will be negated."
Theo looked over at Jin, exhaustion and concern mixing in his expression, "What...does she mean we'll get kicked out? Do you think she means it? Fuck," he blabbered, words coming out quick.
There was an Assembly? They wouldn't even get to their rooms and just...sleep? Forever?

Cheshire blushed deeply as Hein caught her, quickly scrambling to her feet and shifting to fade into the background, a muttered 'Thank You' escaping her lips. In truth, a part of her would have loved being the captain, but a larger half also knew she was too weak. It was that simple. Maybe one day she would be better suited, but for now Cheshire would just have to offer up all she could as a supporting member.
"We should find these other two members," Cheshire whispered, glancing again at the names.
Cheshire stiffened, a little stunned at Winter's words. As long as she had the flag, her powers would be void? No more censoring her emotions or watching her temper? No more distancing herself from people, so she wouldn't repeat the the incident that forever changed her life?
A bit of her wished she could hold that flag forever.

Shiloh got up and made his way over to Chloe. He saw Kalina also lurking there too. Genji had been traded to another team and DaMarcus had taken his place, "Lycan, reporting," He spoke formally, staring around at his team. As far as their powers went, they were a pretty fair, balanced team and with their new guy seemed tough. Just planting him next to their flag would like, guarantee victory.
"It looks like the team is the same, but we're missing an amputee," Mark spoke as he made his way over to where his team was supposed to meet. Their powers would be pretty good for defending a flag, though capturing one and the subseqent loss of powers would be pretty tough to compensate for. They didn't have any DaMarcus-sized guys that would still be able to kick the crap out of people without powers.

Jay saw that there were set spots for teams. Whoopsies. Jay quickly made his way over to where his team was supposed to meet and waited for other people to show up. Without powers, huh? Jay looked at his hands. If I could get rid of this...thing.... But that wasn't going to happen any time soon, at least. So he leaned against the wall and waited.

“How should I know” Jin stated as he turned to face Theo. Snow really was insane and Jin didn’t trust her for a minute. Harsh punishment was one thing but this woman was obviously breaking a few laws. Now he had an assembly to deal with, right after a night of fighting for his life chained to Theo. “I don’t believe her for a second” Jin told Theo.

Theo was, in his state, pretty much willing to believe anything.
"Yeah, why put us through this horrible punishment if we're going to get expelled anyway? Winters won't do that," Theo concurred, convincing himself more than Jin.
"Guess we have to go to this fucking assembly, huh?" he said, rubbing the raw area of his wrist for a second, but the pain was too much. He stopped, merely settling to look at it. He'd much rather go to the Infirmary.

Hein Clovel, stepped away from his seat and walked to the side of the room as he waved his hand to Cheshire, and the others to join him(or otherwise come on there own) for a strategy meeting. Not wanting to waste time since they would be playing a game soon.

Calvin nodded at Chloe's question. "Yeah, that's what I do. It's weird, all these smells I never noticed before." He commented, he was barely paying attention to the assembly at this rate. He just looked over and noticed his team was the same, and caught something about a game of Capture the Flag.

“Well it’s not like the psycho witch is give us a choice” Jin told Theo as he slowly began to stand up. Another assembly was the last thing he needed right now, knowing this crazy school odds are they would be fighting another group of robots or something. “So now we have a stupid assembly to deal with”.

Theo shook his head, his eyes appearing dazed.
He and Jin made their way up the normal entrance from the CATT rooms and into the gym for the assembly, both looking like little disasters. Theo was notably sheepish and embarrassed, forgetting his sour mood for the time being as he wondered what everyone was gathering about.
Fayth bid Nadya farewell and tried to follow Hein, though not too closely. He still really gave her weird vibes. But she knew the rest of her team would be around soon.
DaMarcus made his one down towards Shiloh, hearing him state his codename. "Yo, Phoenix," he stated flatly.
"If everyone will get with their teams, we'll be going to the CATT rooms. Hyun-Lin's and Utkins's teams will be in CATT Room 1, my team and Stylianos's teams will be in CATT Room 2, and Snow and Samson's teams will be in CATT Room 3," Winters instructed.

Cheshire gave a tentative smile to Fayth and then padded after Hein and Genji. She glanced around, her eyes open for their last teammate. This would be her first time in CATT with someone other then herself, and she was both excited and terrified. Pulling her hair out of the messy bun and into a practical pony tail, Cheshire sped up to catch up with the bulk of the group.
"I...erm I have an idea for a stratagy..." she said a little meekly, not wanting to force her ideas on anyone. She wasn't even sure her idea was a good one, but for once decided to speak up instead of staying quiet.

Upon hearing the announcement, Jay headed for CATT room 3, it would also be his first time in the CATT with someone other than himself, and he hoped that the other people in his group knew what they were doing, as he had no idea. So he headed there, keeping an eye out for Samson and other people headed in the same direction.

Chloe couldn't help but laugh at Calvin's reaction, heightened sense smell and sound were not comforting by any means. She started to ask him if he could pick up Theo's scent-it had been very elusive the past night and at times seemed to be right under her-but held her tongue when her own team started to gather around her. She sat back, slightly irritated at their intrusion but patiently nodded to each of them before turning back toward Calvin. She smiled at him sympathetically and said, "Yes, the world is very smelly,"
Her eyes settled on DaMarcus for a fleeting second before she popped out of her chair and whispered in Kalina's ear, "How is everybody doing?"
Waving goodbye to Drake, Jennifer and Calvin, she started to lead her team toward the CATT.

"Yeah, it is. You smell good though." Calvin replied, giving a wave and a smile back as he turned to Drake. "Guess we should find Mark and Jin then. Mark should be easy," Calvin took a glance at Kalina, he'd noticed the two of them were fairly close, "but Jin.... Hope he's ok."

Clearing her throat, Cheshire fidgeted nervously with her fingers as she spoke.
"Well...I thought that perhaps since both I and Avery have long range attacks that are better defense, we should be the ones to guard the flag. We can switch off holding it, and the other can guard far enough away to not be affected by the neutralizing effects, but still be able to jump to defend. Genji, Hein and Fayth all have the strongest offensive so they could be the scouts that search for the flag. Once they have the flag, Genji could hold it, since his speed won't help much at this point seeing as the others have to keep up. With Hein and Fayth to defend him he should be able to make it back unharmed..."
Cheshire had become braver, speaking with more confidence as she carried on, but now she drifted to a stop. She hoped that her plan didn't sound to stupid or childish.
Glancing away with embarrassment, Cheshire dug in her bag and pulled out a necklace, then quickly tied it on. To most this would seem a rather unpractical thing to do, but the heavy charm at the end of the chain was a large and swirling glass design. Back up, in-case the CATT placed them in a forest or someplace where there were no materials for her to use...

“I’m not gone yet” Jin stated as he walked up to Calvin. He was clearly not in the mood for something like things after being forced to spend a night fighting with Theo. “Great so now we have to play another stupid game”.

That sounds fine to me. I'm not exactly the most strategic, so I'll go along with anything. Worst case scenario, I have this..."Digging inside her coat, she rustled up her pipe wrench. "I really hope I don't have to use it though..."
