 Hein caught the feather in his hand and sent it into the air, with a small bite on his hand he causes a drop of blood to roll down. The blood then stops in mid-air and forms into a very tiny dagger which then flies and hits the feather dead-on (cutting it in two pieces). "I guess I'm still ok with my power.." |

Lillian watched her feather be drenched in the red blood. She then made a flicking motion with her finger and sent the feather flying with a small gust of wind. "I bet living here will help improve our powers too" She said still smiling.

In a few moments, it seemed like almost the entire school had crowded around into the courtyard that Fayth had at one time been completely alone in. Quickly she wiped away her tears, her eyes still red from crying as she stood up and looked through the crowd and listened in to what was happening. For a while she had no idea what was going on at all, until she watched as a few people, including her brother Drake, went up and presented their powers...
Oh... Crap, she thought, biting down on her bottom lip out of anxiety as she thought about what exactly she would do. See, the problem with her 'presenting' her power was that she had almost no control over it in the first place, so not only would she be able to actually call upon it to show people, but even if she actually did manage to use it, it would probably end up firing off into some random direction, or worse... At someone.
It was at that moment that she realized that there weren't many other people left to go and present, as the large group became quiet. One of the instructors took notice of this;
"Alright, come on, I know all of you haven't gone yet. Don't be nervous!"
This, of course, didn't help Fayth at all. "Hey, you haven't gone yet," a boy next to her spoke up, a friendly smile on his face. "Come on! We all did it, it's your turn!"
The boy gave her a slight push, which, mostly due to the suddenness of it, caused her to step forward, almost into the opening where everyone was presenting. A deep blush appeared on her face as everyone started looking at her expectantly. It seemed now like she had no choice, so slowly, she walked into the middle, brushing some of her pink bangs out of her eyes as she reached the middle and turned around, looking into the face of her social demise.
"Um... Hi," she spoke up, her voice just barely loud enough that everyone could hear her. "My name's Fayth... Shadows, and I uh..."
She could feel her face becoming even hotter as her blush grew a bit darker, unsure of how to even explain her power really. Half of the time she didn't even realize her power had gone off in the first place, and when she did, she only noticed it for a moment. To be honest the only way she could describe it was... Well...
"I uh... Can shoot a big laser."

Hein facepalms, at the big lazer talk. It was a little silly to begin with but he quickly regain his composure. "Who cares, it's not like we need a big lazer for anything.." he joked, leaning against a nearby wall.

She let her wings out. They were large angel white wings. She took off leaving a few feathers and gracefully glided to the stage were she landed just as gracefully leaving a few feathers. At the same time Hein walked right next to were she landed. Her wings folded in a disappeared, "I am Lillian Clovel, and my power is that I can control wind." she said smiling. She then lifted up her arms in a graceful motion and started a small whirlwind around her.

Hein looks around calmly, not the slightiest bit nervious about being on stage. He cracks his neck and looks around once more. "I'm Hein, I don't give a crap about any of you so don't bother me. I have 2 powers that join together, allow me to show you the first one.." Hein said as he bit his hand again, this time biting deeper then before causing a lot of blood to roll of his hand.
Using the blood he gathered, he created a awesome looking katana made entirely of blood. "With my blood, i can make things by concentrating it into certain forms. I can also move it and throw it without touching it. If it gets too far away from me, it will turn back into blood"
"The next part of my power, i need help." Hein said grabbing Lillian's arm. "Will you help me?"

Hein dropped his katana which stuck into the ground like a sharp blade, rolling behind Lillian he kept the grip on her arm. Feeling his hand along her neck, after a moment he playfully licked her neck slowly like he always does, upon being done he opened his mouth revealing fangs. "I also.. Drink blood to increase my strength and help me heal.." he said softly as he bit into her neck slowly, his fangs entering her as he began drinking her blood.

Lillian blushed as she gave out a slight moan. This was nothing new to her though. She and her stepbrother were almost always together and he always did this whenever it was needed. Although if Hein ever were to suck the blood of another woman, Lillian is still unsure if she could find it acceptable.

Hein continued to drink, for him this was the best tasting drink. Seemingly forgeting he is on stage, his other hand went under her arm and grabbed her breast squeezing it tightly before massaging with increased agressiveness everytime. Biting a little bit harder he forgets about everyone except Lillian.
'Blood type AB is the best..' he thought.

Watching the display, Raines nodded, noting their powers. He felt a remorse wash over him, as if he had said something earlier about incest that paled in comparison to what was going on. Nonetheless, he thought it interesting to see what the boy could do with... well his blood, and what the girl could do with wings.

Lillian suddenly remembered where they were as she came back from her little dream land of pleasure. Opening her eyes she pushed Hein off and quickly put her hand on her neck covering up the wound. She then looked around blushing and a bit embarrassed, "yes well...um...thats...our ....powers...." she said somewhat stuttering.

"I'll go" a voice popped up and a pretty Indian girl made her way to the front. She got on stage and bit her lip, "I have the ability to explore. She concentrated her stare at the professor and then glanced at the sky. She shrugged and replied, "not really smething I can demonstrate. But theprofessor believes it's going to rain"
Without another word, she made her way back into the stands.

Watching everyone go, Theo leaned over, speaking to Raines, Drake, and now Robbie, who had joined them, "Man, and I thought being a mutant made us weird. Those freaks, gross, dude," Theo mumbled, making a face as if he had just eaten rocks covered in raw eggs, "And that one guy going all 'I don't care about you', what a loser. I thought Mark was our 'don't care about any off of you' person, now we have two! I just hope neither of em are on my team!"
Theo didn't get loners. It was illogical to him. Between their oddly intimate public display and the boy's attitude, Theo took an instant dislike.

Seeing all the displays of powers, Avery decided to walk up to the stage. Clearing her throat and a fit of coughing later, she told the stage...
"Hi. I'm Avery and um... I can do this..."
Focusing on a nearby student, the student then began to have a case of sneezing, then coughing that grows progressively louder until climaxing with the student vomiting on the ground. Laughing nervously as people began to glare at her, she told the students...
"It uh... Still needs work I guess. But there's also this..."
She then surrounded her hands in her weird acidic mucous, which then begins to drip and burn holes on the stage. Flicking her hands to the side, she flings a bit on a tree, leaving singe marks as the affected area begins to have some smoke.
"So um... That's... It. Sorry if I've isolated myself socially from you all."
Willing the acid away, she made her way quickly back to the seat, sighing while trying to hold back tears. She then took out a comic and quickly buried her face in it.

At Ace's text message, she rolled her eyes and shoved her phone back in her pocket. He had such a one track mind and was quite stubborn, which caused them to bicker, among other reasons that both mutants denied till this day.
Chloe looked up again, there were random mutants popping up all over the place but considering she'd just witnessed a brother and sister practically make out on stage, she was through, just...through, Christ XD. Pedophilia and Incest? You guys are seriously killing me.
A few more mutants went, including one with a rather ghastly power of what could most likely be described as acid saliva. Chloe watched the girl dart away and felt a twinge of sympathy for the poor child. It served to remind her that this wasn't a game at all.
Of course, the mood quickly swung again as the sea of students parted for Jennifer as strutted through and hopped on stage, "I'm Jennifer Rise, duh," she giggled and flashed an award winning grin and flipped her hair back, "I can fly in any atmosphere at incredibly high speeds,"
Jennifer pushed off the stage and became suspended in the air. With an 'umph', she shot into the air so fast that the force shook the ground and let a jet stream behind her. She then came gliding back a few moments later with a smug look on her face.
Chloe nodded in approval. When she'd first met Jennifer, all the girl could do was fly, but throughout the years, she'd gained amazing speed. Jen was not exaggerating either, the girl could definitely race fighter jets.

Nadya gave Avery a good pat on the leg, smiling at her. Of course, Avery couldn't see, for she was too busy reading her comic. "You did great!" She said.

Raines gave Theo a suspicious look, as the crowd remained silent. All of them were watching the two boys, as if a fight was about to start. However, all Roger could muster was a simple, clean and easy:

Mark cursed a bit when he saw the Indian woman go up. A psychic was in the freshmen class? Then she probably knew that he lied about the true extent of his powers, and maybe even his plan to con all the trust fund mutants. Luckily, most of the younger psychics had limits. Maybe if he stayed far enough away from her, he could still continue forward with his plan.
Even Mark was a little grossed out at the the incest and sickly girl. There was definitely a few weird ones here, but it did make him realize that not everyone thought of their powers as a gift. At least his power was awesome, "Luck of the draw I guess," He sighed.
