Professor Winters entered the room and took a spot next to Professor Samson. They whispered to each other briefly, exchanging a couple of sentences. Winters shrugged, Samson chuckled. The final stragglers took the opportunity to present themselves, some shy, others showmen.
"Sounds like you guys are all done, and like there is a lot of variety here. Each one of your powers is special, and will prove a helpful tool. With that said, you're all free to go. The cafeteria will open for dinner in 30 mins, and will be open until 9. I believe our wireless internet is also fully functional. The pool is closed right now, but the gym is open. We'll be by your dorms later to check things out."
And with that, the students began clearing, most to take a breather in their dorm rooms before dinner.

Chloe chuckled at his last comment, if he hadn't seen her around then Drake was right, he really didn't get out much. When he brought up her powers again, Chloe fell silent with only a secretive smirk on her face. If that was his game, trying to scout competition, then she wasn't going to give him any edge.
"Chlooooooooee!! I've been looking everywhere for you!" Jennifer came bounding up and cut right between them. Jennifer wrapped her arms around Chloe and pulled her, shooting Drake a warning look as Vera and Nik caught up to them.
Chloe glanced over her shoulder and gave him an apologetic look before turning back around to leave the quads with her friends.

Robbie looked between both of those boys, who stood there with blank expressions as if his outburst or the fact that he had just gotten stolen wasn't a big deal. He huffed as slid down the pile of wallets and other valuables and as he stepped of the base of the mountain of belongings grew back to normal size. His stomach growled violently as he grew, his appetite in his small size was quite a bit less than in his full form and only now did his hunger claw at his mind. Without saying a word he left the cafeteria.

Upon seeing Prof. Winters, Avery unplugged a headphone from her left ear to hear the news. After he's finished, she decided to first check to see if Genji stole from her, scrounging though the pile to find her wallet and comic. She then thought to ask Nadya...
"So... You ever thought about choosing a codename yet?"

"Dude, you're the one who knows everyone, why don't we just invite em all? Maybe not the shrinking kid, he's kind of a spaz...or those weird twins, that vampire dude grinds my gears," Theo said, quickly thinking of people not to invite and contradicting himself, before glancing around and whispering, "I mean...are you sure we won't get caught or anything?"

Elsewhere, Raines and Genji had not noticed Robert had left. Instead, their eyes were locked in a war of minds, and they stood promptly still.
Five seconds later, Genji blinked, and Roger cheered. "Uh, name's Genji, kid. I didn't get a chance to know your name?" He laughed, sticking out his hand. "Roger. Roger Raines."

However, deciding that a new school would mean something of a fresh start, she decided. "I'll go if you want to go." |

After going to the cafeteria and eating a slice of cake and some cookies, as well as managing to sneak some pudding and cookies back with her, Lillian and Hein headed to their rooms. "I feel so much better now! You know you really shouldn't just suck my blood like that in front of everyone....They will think we are odd perverts." She said giggling a bit more.

Hein smiled as he took the last bite of a chocolate he was handling just before, he leaned slightly closer to speak in a more quiet tone. "Isn't it normal to want to show your affection for family and try your best to make them feel good?" he said as they approached the dorm rooms, his room was 2 doors down from hers.

"Goodnight Lillian.."Heading down the hall he opens his rooms door and heads on in. Closing the door behind him, Hein enters his bathroom and turns the shower on. It had been a long day and he was dirty, removing his clothing fast he jumps into the shower and lets the hot water roll off him. "Ahhh.." he felt relieved and relaxed, all at once. "I hope that New Haven Academy isn't as strange as i have thought"The day was over for Hein...

Kalina overheard talk about a party and soon got a little excited. She was new but it didn't mean she didn't want to get in with the "in crowd,"
She headed to her dorm and went to get settled in before changing out of her traditional clothes and into a simple pair of jeans and a t shirt. She braided her long black hair and glanced out the room.

Mark went back to his room and unpacked his things. The party tonight meant a lot of drunken rich kids. He wouldn't even need his powers to make a few quick bucks if he decided to go. But news of that psychic kid worried him, even if she was kind of hot. Trying anything in here would be the worst mistake possible, "I could always use my powers on her first...no, she'd probably see that coming..."
Things used to be much easier, but by his third year here, people had to be getting suspicious. After all, Mark was a freshman who came with no money, but had no problem eating, clothing himself, and getting a high end iPod and laptop, "It looks like I'm going to the party," He decided with a groan. Just being in the presence of rich kids and the 'jock' types was going to be unbearable. Having to hear them drunk was going to be even worse.

What was up with this kid? Did he not see the point to having a party. If you invited everyone it wasn't a party!
"While that would be one sweet ass party, I didn't get enough alcohol for sixty one people. Word has probably already spread enough anyways that people will show up on there own."
Picking up his board he threw his arm over the kids' shoulder with a smirk.
"We have a record of getting caught all but four times. Those four times is when we skipped school and went into town. So we'll definitely be getting caught, it is more of a question of when."

Twitch stood against a nearby wall in the auditorium where no one would ever look clicking the end of his pen relentlessly. He had been there the whole time clicking just loud enough so he could "see" each person as they showed their powers to the rest. It's not that he didn't want to talk to them it was more of not being able to. He didn't want the new kids to know of his blindness, and to show his power would just open the door to the babying.
The young mutant pondered over going to the party that he heard about from passing student. There would be a few kids from the years before there but he could avoid them, plus they would hopefully be to drunk to pay attention to him being there.
I should go He thought walking off. Maybe he could befriend them and act crazy enough in the beginning they wouldn't baby him.

Theo stared at Ace incredulously.
"W-w-wait, dude, you always get caught?" he asked, trying not to process the numbers, "Don't you get in trouble? I don't wanna have to do 10,000 push ups for Professor...well, the big strong scary guy!"
Theo shuddered at the thought of Professor Stylianos standing over him while he struggled to do push up number 31.

Yun covered her mouth to suppress a yawn when she headed towards her assigned dorm for the first time. She was one of the last students to go during the orientation and introduced herself, but made the smart decision request turning off the microphone when she demonstrated her power. She didn't use her voice as the exhibition, but instead resonated the sounds that were around her, including the jingling of the bells in her hair, the shuffling of feet in the student crowd, and even someone digesting the last of their lunch from within their stomach. Of course, she didn't intend to increase the volume of that.
She pushed the door open to her room and peered around to see if her roommate was there (which she figured out was the popular girl named Chloe. Despite being a year older, Yun was a bit intimidated by her class and felt that she ran into some bad luck by being roomed with one of "those girls"). With an exhausted heave, she plopped on a bed and laid on her side, waiting for her roommate to enter in slight anxiety.
