The large crowd that had gathered outside in the courtyard slowly filed out into other areas of the school, leaving a much smaller group of people simply talking and relaxing and such as Fayth continued looking for her brother. The deep blush on her face had finally gone down now as she slowly walked around the courtyard somewhat like a lost puppy, hoping that Drake hadn't been one of the people that had left the place, when suddenly she saw a shadowy figure underneath a tree, and recognized him immediately.
Without even a word she walked over to the tree he sat under, and plopped down next to him, propping her legs up and leaning her head on them as she sat next to him.

Theo ran his fingers through his hair in thought. "Hmm...," he murmured"Well, besides Chloe, but I figure everyone is into her. There are definitely some cute ones. Jenniffer is cute, but she's so annoying, and so are her friends. That girl...um...Fayth, she had some potential."
Theo rattled off names as he thought of them. He most likely would have listed every girl in school if he had thought long enough.

"Well, I dunno." She said, thinking. As both of them arrived at their room and went inside, Nadya collapsed onto her bed. "I don't think I'll go, I hear it's in Chloe room. But they'll be so many people there... I mean we gotta meet people, right?" She asked, turning over to the side to face Avery.
Raines and Genji both separated, not needing a reason to talk to each other. Genji had gone to his room, deciding to knock on his door before going in. Not hearing an answer after a millisecond, he walked inside. "Yo~! Aren't you that whatchamcallit... rigid kid?" He asked, looking at Mark.
Raines, on the other hand, walked up to a boy who had sat and just watched the entire time. The boy had a pen with him and discolored eyes, but Roger didn't notice. "Hello. What is your power?" He asked twitch, not bothering with formalities.

Drake looked over at his sister, "I'm sorry for not finding you..." he knew he was all his sister had, but he sometimes forgot and wondered off. "Are you alright?" he knew when she was upset, she would always sit like that when something was up.

Theo stopped where he was standing, which was just down the hall from their dorm room door. His mouth was agape in shock. Ace kept walking, almost not noticing Theo was immobilized by wonderment. As soon as Theo snapped at it, he jogged into the dorm room and quickly shut the door behind him.
"You actually banged her? What was she like?" he asked with hushed excitement.

Twitch was caught off guard by the sudden man, but continued to click his pen to try and make out the person. He was able to see the basic outline of the boy but would need to respond if he wanted to see the more detailed look of this kid. What was more peculiar to him was his sudden question about his power. To Twitch it was more of a gift, but even though he was very proud of it he would have to lie.
"T..is...usua...ll...y...usual.....usually! form...al....to....intr....o...duce...yourself, introduce yourself! fi...rst..." He stuttered, the white lines shooting all around Raines face and body, a slight smirk on Twitch's face. He always loved the ability to see, but he always hated when it left him.

"Yea." He responded with his hands behind his head. "How was it?" Ace chuckled at the boy in the candy store like look on Theo. "She was pretty good, but damn annoying....well not so annoying if you actually like her. But like I said I just wanted to beat that night and she happened to be there." He shrugged.

Theo collapsed onto his bed in a bit of a daze, thinking of the crazy adventures he might have this semester. Who knew who would be by his side, whether it be Ace or Raines or Drake or Chloe or Calvin, maybe even Robbie. Theo wasn't particularly picky.
"I think I had cold feet before, but I'm getting kinda excited about it. It'll be cool to be social without it being so...awkward. This could be really fun, when do we get it goin' on?" he asked before leaning over the side of his bed and digging through his stuff for his cell phone. He began punching away at the digits for a text.

“So do you want help? I can help you!” Jennifer went on about the party, “Is Ace going to be there? I hope he’s going to be there, does he talk about me?”
Chloe didn’t respond, she knew better, boy did she know better. Instead she pulled out her Iphone-yeah, I said it again-and checked the time, “Merde!” she cursed to herself, “I have to get ready and I don’t want it at my place!”
“Oh no, it has to be,” Nik replied heatedly, “They’re expecting it to be at Ace’s-"
"What about Ace?" Jennifer interrupted, glancing up from her text messaging.
"...we already spread the rumor around to the nerds that it was happening in Aaa....his room so all the Professors will be and bust them going to his place while the cool kids will be home free till at least midnight,” Nik finished, eyeing Jennifer wearily.
Chloe sighed but didn’t protest; instead she broke off from the group and made her way to her room. Just as she’d expected, Ace had strewn cups and bottles all over her bed. She’d told that boy a million times to put crap under her bed…UNDER! UNDER! Not on the nice linen sheets!
Chloe let out a stream of angry French cursing and slammed her door. She made a beeline for her bed and began to scoop the supplies out, still continuing in her Parisian tirade when she finally realized that Yun was sitting across from her. She stopped for a moment and almost looked embarrassed, she then regained her composure and quickly went to drop Ace’s crap on her desk.
“’Alloooo,” Chloe sang as she set the clinking bottles down and turned to face Yun, “I am Chloe, your roommate,”
Chloe extended an airy hand out to Yun, proving to be a lot more forward than she’d usually led on.

"Haha that's the spirit!" He shouted, punching Theo's left shoulder. "We should probably be heading out now, the party should be starting in like ten minutes."

"Th....the....they....they! cal....call....m..m...me....twi....call me twitch!" His tirade on clicking the pen not stopping. "Fo...for....for....for obv....for obvious! rea.....for fucking obvious reasons!"
He blushed, a bit embarrassed his emotions got the best of him. He was so use to stuttering he had completely forgotten how to talk normally. Kinda ironic.
"Sor....sorry."

A small, spider-like device crawled off the stage. Its body was a cell phone, but the camera had been removed to give it one eye that could peer around, "Weird, very weird," The spider spoke through the speaker and then crawled away to the dormitories. It avoided the footsteps of the chattering students and made it to back to the owner's room.
Marik picked up the small spider-phone and set it on the desk. The room was dimly lit and he worked with a small lamp on his desk. He picked up a remote and pried it open, "Your battery still doesn't last very long," He sighed, "and your sound quality is fuzzy," He took the battery package out and wired it to the top of the cell phone.
His eyes glowed a bright blue for a moment and he felt his mind connect to the spider. The single eye stared around the room. It no longer had a static-y effect and had lost its green tint. Marik returned to his body and smiled, "Good," He put the spider-phone on the side of his desk and wheeled through the dormitory.
In a few moments, Marik was in the cafeteria and bought a bit of chicken and some pudding. He sat at the corner of a table and bit into his food sheepishly. Despite there being so many mutants, few of them seemed to have any real disabilities or outward weaknesses. And he still hadn't met his roommate, not that he minded being alone.

"Er, hi..." Yun greeted awkwardly in return, still caught a bit off guard by Chloe's earlier rant. She lightly grasped her hand to shake it, not showing any firmness as she was feeble in her grip. As the perceived "leader" of the hyena girl pack, Yun thought that Chloe was surprisingly calm in comparison to the rest. Well, that didn't mean it was safe. The more she trusted someone, she was afraid they might draw her in like a sweet sundew before swallowing her up and spitting out her carcass like the exoskeleton of a fly. But maybe she needed to work on her social skills.

Chloe yanked the girl close and kissed her on both cheeks as a greeting. Chloe let go and nonchalantly turned back to her own stuff, quickly organizing everything. She worked rather efficiently, now use to having to unpack all her things and be presentable for a power. Within minutes, Chloe had managed turn her empty dorm room into a home and with the music coming from her sparkle cover lap top. She'd been in out the shower and now was standing in front of her full length mirror in a robe with a blow-dryer.
"You like parties, no?" Chloe casually asked when she turned the blow-dryer off and began to brush her long hair. She glanced over at Yun before flipping her hair to the other side and plugging in her flat iron.

Yun was a bit taken aback by the French greeting. Coming from the east, she was unfamiliar with customs the western part of the world might have, including that of European countries. Was her roommate a lesbian? She decided to play it safe around her, keeping in mind the assumption just in case.
She responded to Chloe in a murmur, but realized that her natural voice might not be heard. Enhancing the volume a bit, she spoke again, "I've never been to one." she replied honestly. Technically she had been to a few parties, but those included formal weddings and such. Nothing of the sort Yun thought Chloe was talking about.

"T-Ten minutes?" he stuttered, falling off the side of the bed. He popped back up, his head sticking up over and his hair flopped all over his face, obscuring it, "Shit man, I gotta get dressed and get fresh!" He rocketed up and began running from the closet to the dresser to the bathroom in a triangular fashion, occasionally stopping in a mirror, a little bit panicked, his nervousness on his sleeve.

Twitch shouted, his face reddening once more. If he had only stuttered when he really needed to when talking to people and not doing it when he was bored this would not have been a problem.

Theo blushed, but hid it by pulling a shirt over his head, so his face couldn't be seen. He wasn't generally so concerned, but at a new school, he wanted to make such a positive impression on everyone. He was merely nervous.
"Psssh, some of us actually like to look good," he said with a laugh, covering up his nervousness.

Lillian took a short shower and put on a cute, short, dress. (He needs to learn more people skills....It is not right to do that in public....But...He will learn eventually..) She thought giggling a bit to herself as she left her room and decided to walk around a bit.

"Me?" he asked, not expecting the serious question, let alone presented in such a casual manner. He paused to think about the question.
"Nah, my family. It's fine. I mean...I think I'm lucky. What about you?" He turned to look at Ace, wondering if he was always cocky and feisty. Theo wasn't one to take things seriously either, but he was still wondering how Ace would react.
