"Home cooking is my favorite.."
Hein then lead the way back to the student dorms with Cheshire in tow, even though New Haven Academy was coming back to life-- many areas still remained vacant as the arrived there without seeing anyone. Stepping in he walked down the hall until he finally stopped, and looked back. "I'm going to my room first, It's on the second floor.." he stated, assuming that she would either come with him to his room or got to her room by herself. "Okay," Cheshire said agreeably, her eyes darting around. She was beginning to revert back into her quiet and fearfull self now that they were in the building. It was lucky that the halls were pretty deserted it, or there might have been some trouble, "Sh-should we meet up later or...?" Cheshire trailed off, not wanting to sound needy or push Hein into doing something just because he felt sorry for her. She wasn't sure how much he was hurting about that girl he had lost, and she didn't want to force her company on someone who didn't want it.

Theo instinctively leaned back in the cage, taking a lot of the force from the punch as it contacted him. His right arm immediately flashed outwards as he tried to use his forearm to smash Jin's retreating punching arm - sideways. Against the metal bars, the pain would be excruciating.

Angie and Calvin were leaving the cafeteria when they saw some commotion going on. Not really paying attention to Calvin's droning on about how much the day sucked, she hurried ahead to find none other than Jin and...Theo (WTF???) fighting. She was startled by their cruel words, but when they started using their powers on each other-or as she saw it, Jin using his powers on Theo, Angie gasped and hopped back,
"OOOOOO! I AM SOOOOOOOO TELLING!!!" She screeched, darting back past Calvin to find a Professor. They were acting like utter barbarians!

Hein heard her question, and thought how he could answer then decided on changing the subject. shifting his weight and smiled, he didn't immediately answer. As he gave gazed at Cheshire again, he then knelt down to her height drawing closer. "Can you close your eyes, there is something I want to give you.." he said as he raised his hand, only his forefingers raised anymore.

"Oh great...." Calvin muttered as he watched Angie run off in search of finding someone to tell. "I better stop them before they really get in trouble." Calvin muttered to himself before running up, immediately disintegrating Jin's cage into dust.
"Okay guys, can we please just get along for five seconds and talk things out?" Calvin asked, trying to use Theo's power to make them as happy as possible. He'd make them jizz in their pants if it meant they'd stop fighting.

Cheshire stiffened as Hein drew close, her eyes widened like a deer caught in the headlights of a speeding car. Her breath seemed to catch for a moment and it was a second before she remembered how to inhale. How long had it been since someone had been so close to her? Even her father had kept his distance...The glass windows in the hallway began to rattle ominously, and Cheshire quickly clamped down on her emotions.
"Ah, Okay," Cheshire squeaked out, closing her eyes. Her hands clenched her bag tightly, her knuckles turning white in an attempt to control herself. Finally the windows stopped rattling and silence again reigned in the abandoned hallway.

Theo couldn't even tell his own powers were being used against him until he was happy, and then rational enough to get it. He fought back with his own powers, preferring the senseless anger.
Apparently he and Jin had more in common then they realized.
"We weren't done!" Theo yelled, his varying emotions actually making it come out more whiny than angry. Damn powers...

The pain Jin felt was quite intense as he clapped his hands again and touched the cage. “Not bad, I guess we have to take his to the next level” Jin stated as barbed wire began to form around bares of the cage. Not taking any chances this time Jin elbowed Theo with his metal arm into the wires.
"Please stay out of this Calvin" Jin stated as he turned to face his friend. “But I certainly appreciate the emotional pick me up”

Hein nodded as she closed her eyes and backed up a bit. The thing he wanted to give her was one of his Crystal Blood Roses that he had yet to fully figure out, would he be able to do it. Biting his hand, several drops of blood formed into a ball in front of him as he tried to form it into a rose, after a moment the rose was formed but only for a moment as it immediately shattered. 'Crap, it failed again..' Hein thought, but he had to give her something.
Kneeling in again, he saw that she was still waiting. Trying to stay calm next to a guy she had just met with her eyes closed. There was only one thing left to give her if he didn't have the rose, as he pulled closer to her and gave a warm kiss on her cheek. He hoped that that would at least equal his rose...

Cheshire immediately turned beet red as soon as she realized what Hein was doing. A crack raced up the window behind her, a loud snap echoing through the hall. Her eyes snapped open and she stared up at Hein with something that could only be described as disbelief. A little dizzy from the sudden rush of blood to her face, Cheshire was lost for words. What was she supposed to say?
"Ah..." Cheshire squeaked feebly. Didn't Hein's girlfriend just die? He had said he had loved this girl Yun...and then...Damn Cheshire was confused. Most of her confusion came from whether or not she was glad that he had kissed her. Leaning toward the former.
Of course, Cheshire, being the social-retard that she is, did the worst possible thing one can do in that situation. She spun on her heels and ran the hell out of there. Coming to a quick halt at the staircase, she called a fevered 'T-t-thank you' over her shoulder, immediately wising she hadn't. How pathetic did she have to sound? She then continued her dash, not stopping until she had locked herself in her safe (glassless) room.

Angie dashed through the campus letting loose a high pitched A, she wasn't so sure where she was going or who she was looking for but she figured as long as she could stay in tune, someone would be drawn to her beautiful voice. She turned the corner and ran into a wall. She hit it so hard that her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she dropped to the floor. It took her a moment to recollect herself. Angie slowly sat up, her hands pressed to each rosy cheek as if she was trying to hold her rattling head together. Angie sobbed and blinked a few times as she waited for her brain to stop rattling and her vision to focus. That's when she finally noticed a pair of black pointed toe witch boots draped with the ebony ruffled hem of a skirt that hauntingly drifted in the still air.
Angie let out a small gasp as she slowly raised her eyes over the elongated torso till her bright blue eyes locked with the icy transparent eyes of Professor Snow. The woman quietly stood over Angie, still in her black funeral attire which eerily contrasted her pale skin and bright white hair that she'd pulled into a twisting victorian bun. Snow stared down at the girl sharply, her lips pressed into a thin line. It was hard to tell if she had any concern for the child who shook under her gaze. In her black ruffled blouse, long skirt and pointy boots, Diane Snow looked more like a witch than the saving grace of a Professor. Not too mention that Angie had only seen her once or twice in her whole time at the Academy.
Snow continued to patiently stare down at Angelique, but unlike the kindness of Hyun Lin, Snow looked absolutely livid, which only served to cause Angelique to further retreat within herself. After another minute, Snow's patience ran out and she menacingly leaned over, wrapping her long pale fingers around Angie's collar and jerked the girl to her feet.
"ALRIGHT I'LL TALK!" Angelique cried, holding her hands up in the air as if Snow was holding her at gunpoint. Snow, however, didn't look one bit satisfied with Angelique's compromise, keeping her fingers fastened around Angelique's collar as she pulled the girl closer to her face so Angelique could take in Snow's frown. The little girl cowered under Snow's glare, who now had narrowed her eyes so much that they'd become tiny white slits on her face. Angelique's began to stutter, trying to find the words to tattle on Jin and Theo, but all she could think about was how utterly terrifying this woman was, she was reminiscent of CS Lewis' white witch-only much more terrifying!
"I-I-I...Th-they..." Angie stammered, shakily pointing in the direction she'd come from. She continued on like that for another minute or so, until Snow couldn't take it anymore. Her narrowed eyes blazed open and her thin lips curved into a scowl as she dragged Angelique closer to her face, this time giving her a little shake.
"THEO AND JIN ARE FIGHTING!" Angelique blurted out, hoping this little tidbit would save her, only now that she'd gotten it out, she couldn't stop talking, "They're fighting! And Jin's got Theo in a cage! And they're using powers on each other and it's awful! It's dreadful! It's against the rules to fight! And to think that they're doing it on the day of a memorial! No class! No class at all!"
Somewhere in the middle of Angelique's babbling, Snow had released the little girl and briskly brushed past her, heading in the direction Angie had originally pointed in. Now that Angelique was out of the line of fire, she bounced after the frightful woman, excited to see what would become of the two perpetrators.

Hein's head tilted in confusion as Cheshire ran away after his kiss, did he do something wrong? -- Did she say thank you? -- Was a kiss enough to freak a person out? What ever the case was he just stood there for a good minute, after that minute he snapping out of it. "Maybe I should have tried making the rose again.." he said casually, as he walked back to his room to get a change of clothes.
Arriving at the room he opened it up and saw his suitcase was still on his bed. Removing his ruined suit, he tossed it in the garbage. Then jumped in the shower to wash off the lake water, as he tried to keep his mind flowing with new thoughts rather then old ones. "Yun.."

After a very long, and very much needed hot shower, Cheshire donned some new clothes. Her room was stuffy and quiet, her roommate no where to be found, and soon Cheshire found herself getting fidgety. When her stomach began to growl in demand of nutrition, she stood and left her room. Glancing around corners like a criminal, Cheshire was determined to avoid Hein after her little idiotic dance.
Finally arriving at the kitchen, she threw together some stuff for Nachos and tossed it in the oven. A few shouts could be heard from outside, though they were faint. Incidentally, Cheshire ignored them and rubbed her eyes tiredly. When at last the Nachos were done, she quickly dug in, not bothering to wait for them to cool down. To amuse herself while she ate, she practiced her power with a stray glass that was on the counter.
First she drew it to her, the tall glass floating in the air as it responded to her beckoning fingers. Then with a flick of her index finger, the glass shattered, all the shards still hanging in mid-air. They rotated slowly as they hovered, light sparkling off them and giving them the appearance of lonely dancers that moved in synch. Slowly the glass began to mold together, first into a circle, then a triangle. The shapes soon became more complicated: a dagger, the featureless body of a person, a flower, and finally, back into a glass.

Oto, having left behind his new friend and hero, walked away. He needed time to think. How long had he been at NHA? He had barely been on a mission before, for crying out loud, and yet all around him he would hear other students talk about the exploits of other cooler mutants, mutants living his dream of being a super hero. Angry, Oto punched into a large oak tree outside. He punched hard enough to damage the both of them, causing his knuckles to bleed, and causing a piece of bark to break off. "I'm sorry for taking this out on you, friend," Oto said as he place his hand on the tree, using his powers to mend the broken bark. "This.........this is it." Oto said, thinking back to earlier before, watching how cool all the other mutants were, as he stood there, his knees shaking. "I have to become stronger. If I ever want to save people and be a hero, I have to become stronger!" He shouted to himself, knowing no one was around, as he continued to punch the tree, making his knuckles bleed even more, though making sure that the tree itself would constantly be healed after every hit.

"Of course Yami, she knows," Diana said quietly. Kalina looked utterly frightened as she pulled Mark to the main campus building right as her sister and Yami pulled up. When Yami got out, she turned red and couldn't say anything but suddenly got cold when her beautiful sister got out the car. "Kali!" Diana laughed, hugging her, "I'm so happy to see you!" "Yeah," Kalina replied though she was concentrating on Yami.

Yami eyed the boy accompanying Kalina closely. Even though it was a school for people like them, he had difficulty trusting anybody, "It's nice to see you again, Kahleena," He smiled a little bit despite butchering her name with his thick German accent. He placed a hand on her shoulder and then looked back at Mark.
Mark shrunk back a bit and slowly waved, "I...I'm a friend of Kalina's...Clover...Mark Clover," He finally managed to spit out.
Yami stared at the boy and despite speaking English just ten seconds ago, he made no greeting. Something was off about this boy and he already didn't like him.

"Oh I'm sorry Mark!" Kalina gasped and grabbed Mark's hand to pull him forward, "Mark, this is DeathShadow, aka Yami and this is...my sister," She looked away when she said it, "Diana, this is my good friend Mark," "Well Hello!" Diana flashed him her flawless smile and kissed him on the cheek, "I'm happy to meet you! Kali has emailed us about you so much," "Diana!" Kalina whined and then looked up at Yami wide eyed, "We're only friends! I'm still very single!"

A goofy grin came to Mark's face when Diana kissed him on the cheek. She looked a lot like Kalina, only a bit older and more shapely, "Nice to meet you Diana," He whispered and then heard Kalina's statement to Yami. His heart sank a little bit when she said it, like he was just an afterthought in Kalina's life.
Yami eyed Kalina's friend closely. He didn't trust easily and he certainly didn't trust anyone who went googly eyed over Diana, "I'm glad you're making friends here, Kalina," After a bit of struggling, he managed to not bastardize her name.
Just then a giant dog flopped out of the back of their car onto the NHA grass, gnawing at a shoe. The blonde mastiff groaned and laid on the ground, continuing to eat away at what was clearly a woman's shoe, "Bad Bingo," Yami scolded, kneeling down to rub his big dog's back tenderly. He got the monster of a dog when he was 15 and loved him dearly, even if he was a bit lazy and fat.

Drake, who had been in the cafeteria for quite a while with Fayth finally left because he wanted to be alone for a while. Maybe if he'd leave Fayth more often she'd make more friends. He walked outside and sat near the lake. After sitting there for a while he finally got bored and went on one of his long walks around the school, playing with the shadows as he walked by, laughing to himself quietly. This always made him feel happy.

Robbie freaked out, she was only asking him to go eat, but what did that mean? He read all about this kind of hidden message stuff in some 'women magazines' Kanti had lying around her apartment, did she mean "You and me are good friends, let's go hang out" or was it "I think you're pretty swell, let's go out" or maybe it was just "I'm hungry, and you're here, so come with me to eat." Why was this so confusing!? She had just put a string of seven words together! He had to say something at the very least, anything! "S-sure, I'd like to go eat with you, I love to eat, in fact If I could I would all the time non-stop."... That was stupid, even Robbie realized it. Stupid magazines... Putting Robbie in a headlock, Nadya smiled an eyes-closed smile as she gave him a small noogie. After that, she let him go and began walking forward, before turning around to face Robert. "Where do you want to go? You're paying, of course!" She stuck out her tongue at him, and then laughed. "Here," She said , "You look like you could use some," She winked at the boy and started off without even waiting for his reaction. Raines looked at the two white cigarettes in his hand and wondered what she expected him to do with them. He knew HOW to smoke a cigarette, just didn't understand the WHY concept. Regardless, he took off into some random direction, completely ignoring Oto.

"I can't do that Jin," Calvin replied, "Angie saw you guys and well.... You know how she is. She ran off, so unless you two want to get in trouble settle down!" He was having problems counteracting Theo's retaliation, coming off much more angry then anticipated.
"I don't know what the hell this is about, and frankly I don't care. All I care about is trying to keep you two from getting kicked the fuck out. Do you want that?!"

Shoving his hands in his pockets somewhat defensively, although for no apparent reason, DaMarcus continued the conversation. "For real, huh? What'd you do, jack someone?" he asked, referring to whatever transgressions Avery had in her past ever so casually. Oh, the boy was so eloquent! Eyeing him blankly, Avery's expression was something of a very forced smile, telling him... "Well, from what my doctors told me, I killed my birth mother when she tried to hug me, I caused a neighborhood epidemic when I was five, which also forced me to switch foster families until they resolved to keep me in the hospital until I was eleven. Let's just say that I've sort of been Blessed With Suck, shall we?"

Kalina gasped and ran up to Bingo, "HI BINGO!" She called, rubbing his face. Diana screeched when she saw what was in his mouth, "BINGO! You went in my luggage, didn't you!! That's Monolo!!" She pulled the pump out of the dog's mouth and looked like she wanted to cry, "Anyway, Kali, you and Mark are invited to dinner with us,"

Bingo licked Kalina's hand and then rested his giant head in her grip. An audible stomach growl was heard. Yami looked at Bingo, "It sounds like Bingo wants an invitation too, Deeanna," He spoke to her and for the first time, cracked a smile, though he was careful to make sure Mark hadn't seen it.
"I...I would be honored to dine with...with...legends," Mark gulped and straightened the tie of his funeral attire, "When and where? Should I bring money or food or anything?" He rubbed his forehead free of the sweat that was collecting along his brow. While Diana was certainly personable, Yami made up for it.
No one should be that stern and menacing at a school full of allies. His powers had nothing to do with fear, or so he had heard, but Mark still felt like running. 'Does this guy even have the muscles to smile? Wait! Can Ms. Diana read minds too?! She's gonna tell him and he's gonna...oh no! Oh no!' He stumbled back a bit, losing his balance. Mark smiled a little bit, but it made him look like an even bigger groveling mess.
