As soon as her visage grew close she began to mock him, Theo shrank back, his anger melting into childlike fear. And she was worth it. Theo was a child with his hand in the cookie jar and Professor Snow was his angry babysitter, leaving the young culprit with no idea just how far she'd go in her punishment.
Next thing he knew, he was on the ground, right where he and Jin had started their rather brief fight. He wondered what would happen, not wanting to move much for fear of further angering her. When she addressed them, he knew silence was the best response he could muster, so gave her just that.
Rising to his feet at her command, Theo had almost completely forgotten to breath as he wondered what fate was to befall him.

As soon as the boys were up, Professor Snow briskly walked from the way she came, not once glancing behind her shoulder to see if the two boys were behind her. She assumed they'd follow her, after all, it was written over both their faces that they knew they were in trouble.
"I'll give you a fight," Snow murmured under her breath, shaking her head at their insolence, and to think that they were seniors! Seniors, expected to graduate and what? Join her? She'd never been so disappointed with a group of kids in her life. All of them, every single one of them were proving to be absolutely useless. Absolutely useless.
They made her way past the teachers' mansion and she noticed a rental car in front. She was well aware of their visitors and had actually been looking forward to seeing Sheol, who she found to be quite pleasant and easy on the mind, compared to usual over the top bubbly factor of Kanti plus Hyun Lin.
With these thoughts, she sped up, leading them into the side entrance of the main building and down the stairs. Once they reached the sub basement, walked the dark hallway to an elevator that in its high tech glamor, stood out amongst the old manor. The floor indicator at the top of the elevator doors came to life, glowing bright red as a robotic voice called out:
'Voice Activation'
"Diane Snow plus two," Professor Snow replied coolly. The security system played back Professor Snow's greeting, though as it dissected her pitch, it became more and more distorted. Then finally:
'Voice accepted'
And the elevator doors opened, allowing Professor Snow and her two "guests" to enter. The shiny elevator doors shut behind them and began to quickly descend. The Elevator was long with doors on each side of it. The Professor now faced the doors opposite from which they'd come in, casually stretching her neck as she waited for the elevator to reach the floor. She finally glanced behind her, slyly looking to see if either of the students had any idea where they were or where they were going. Winters had put in place a rule at the beginning of the school year that all teams only allowed to use the "statue entrance," as they called it, to keep track of students. Obviously, she'd just broken the rule but as far as Snow was concerned, by the time she was finished with these two, she would have probably broken every rule in Winters' book.
'Level. CATT'
The doors slid open but instead of exiting, Diana turned to face the boys, her face still stern but at least now drained of any anger,
"Hold out your hands," She commanded, quickly flickering a slender pale index finger at Jin's left arm and then Theo's right. Once again, she displayed a surge of impatience when they didn't respond instantly, "Come on!"

Diana laughed and flipped hair over her shoulders, “I’m quite sure that you wouldn’t appreciate me helping some of those students in the same…er…manner that I helped you. Anyway, if I stayed here and you returned to Europe, where would that leave us?”

The walk to the CATT was a less then pleasant one for Jin. He wondered if Theo was playing his emotions again. If Professor Snow was serious about letting them fight, Jin was determined to bury Theo in quick sand if he ever tried to mess with his head again. Once the group finally reached the CATT Jin immediately wonder why they weren’t entering through the main door, but this thought was quickly over written by Snow’s strange request to hold out their arms. “Fine” Jin told her somewhat annoyed as he held out his real arm.

Yami smiled a little bit but then thought about what would happen. It was clear from her demeanor she had thought about taking a job here at New Haven, "I'm not sure what I would do...this school has no need for someone like me, but I don't want to leave you here, either. I want us to stay together, like always," He explained.

DaMarcus's dark colored irises turned to Avery, his face looking at her with surprise. To him, the idea that she could help him was silly. That anyone could, more or less. He didn't need help. He was fine. Absolutely fine. "Whatever," he mumbled, not really certain of how to say it, and not wanting to. But he also didn't want to be a jerk to Avery - she had actually turned out alright. OOC: Sorry for being late... Sighing, Avery knew that this guy was keeping something. She's seen the movies/shows. She understands the feeling a bit. "I don't mean with just regular issues and stuff. I meant... You need someone to help you to do something. Doesn't hurt to take some help. Hell, in the comics, some of the greatest threats require team ups between heroes and occasionally villains."

Hein opened his eyes for the first time in a hour following his nap, he was hungry and thirsty as he lay in bed above the covers. Yet, he would not move for a while as he had a lot to think about. He often lied to himself during these times, wondering why everyone could lie so easily in his direction. It was a sad, awful feeling that came over him as loneliness often took him if only for a few minutes until he came back to reality. "What a sad world we all live in.." he stated as he stared up at the ceiling.

OOC: Sorry I've been slow, been in Cali on a vacation, but I'll be in DC tomorrow night, which should make me more active so we can get this show on the road
Wordlessly, the nervous blond boy followed the intimidating Professor, occasionally glancing over at his partner in crime to see how he was taking it. He looked a little less worried than Theo, still stewing in his own anger, but just as bewildered. What exactly was Snow going to do with them?
Confusion was only exacerbated by a request to give their arms? He raised his right to meet her hand, nearly flinching as if he thought she would just rip it clean off and begin to eat it, or beat him with it.
Turning to Avery, DaMarcus took the opportunity to change the subject, asking her with genuine curiosity, "So you bust on criminals n' shit, huh? You ever take anyone down?"

“Your nothing but a blood thirsty monster, my son…”
The words of a mother that no child would ever want to hear, heard by a boy of 8 years old. This boy however was different then a normal kid of the same age, because he was a mutant. A abomination, a freak and one cursed with a terrible fate worse then death itself -- was he, the blood shaping, vampire child Hein. At least that is what he remembers so clearly from people that found out his secret, others however would lie about it only to say much different in private. In the world he lived in he was truly alone even with his mother trying to stay calm when he would drink peoples blood.
…
“Mother, I don’t want to drink people blood anymore. I don‘t want to hurt anyone else..” Young Hein replied in tears as he had just finished drinking the blood of a stranger in raggy clothing.
It wasn’t a thought that a normal child would have no matter how hard you tried to justify it, It wasn’t something that a 8 year old could do normally, it just was wrong. Still his mother remained silent most every day, most could say that she didn’t have a nice word to say to her son so that is why she never talked. “You.. must…or YOU WILL DIE…” Hein’s mother said, her eyes dried of all tears she turned away from Hein and walked away with hard steps in her wake, leaving him standing over the stranger.
For a while he looked straight ahead, and didn’t say anything. The strangers eyes opening up at last, as he looked up at the boy and said, ‘What are you?’---- “Don’t worry, I might be the only monster that you will meet. You will live without some of your blood, but remember to be careful. I‘m dangerous you see..”
"a truly unhappy memory.." Hein said as he rolled on his side, within his own world. Within his room at New Haven Academy 9 years later.

Diane lowered her gaze to their outstretch palms and clapped their wrists between her icy cold hands. In the blink of an eye, there was a clink of metal and when she withdrew her hands, she left a pair of shiny gold handcuffs around their wrists. They were now intimately bound together, so close that their arms grazed each other. She wasn't worried about Jin trying to transfigure his way out of those handcuffs, he wouldn't be able to, no matter how hard he tried. Professor Snow took a step back and gestured for them to get off the elevator
"Have you two ever heard of GLC?" She quietly asked, guiding them to the door past the control room that lead to the CATT, "The Goblin Labyrinth Cycle?"

Before Jin could even realize it he was handcuffed to Theo. What was this crazy lady thinking, and why was she chaining them together. As Jin studied the handcuffs he realized they were made out of a material he was not familiar with; she was obviously smarter than Jin thought. “GLC?” Jin stated somewhat confused. What sort of trick was Snow up to this time?

Turning to Avery, DaMarcus took the opportunity to change the subject, asking her with genuine curiosity, "So you bust on criminals n' shit, huh? You ever take anyone down?" Turnining her head, Avery stated... "Not yet... I mean, it would be cool and probably eventual that we face down those guys. I like to think that at this point the story is at the 'Development Arc' where we spend most of our times socializing and going out on dates and... Other stuff that teenagers at our ages do..."Feeling a bit uncomfortable with these thoughts, Avery tries to supress a bit of that ache with a sigh... "But... We can do it. Even though my team is horrendously fragmented now."

"Yeah, sure," Mark gulped, heading outside toward the professor dorms. He had never seem them before--and it didn't seem that any of the students should, unless they stalked Utkin. They made it to the door and he tried to flash his ID card that let him in to most of the buildings.
"Access denied," The computer voice rang. Mark sighed, "I guess only the teachers' IDs are the only ones that work," He looked at Kalina, "Can you contact your sister?"

"Goblin Labyrinth Cycle," Snow repeated as the boys entered the CATT. Once the boys entered the room, Diana closed the door on the handcuffed duo, locking them in it. A few moments later, her voice rang out on a loud speaker, "Created by a man much greater than both of you put together. You'll find yourself in a point is to make your way to the middle without being killed. There is no mission fail, there is no restart, the only way out is to find your way to the middle and manual override. You will not be supervised so feel free to beat each other to a pulp and um...anything within the walls that you may and will encounter. And I should mention, the chances of you making it through with your lives are very slim, but if you are so lucky...I've never seen anyone, including Stylianos, make it out of here in less than a day, "
The silver room began to shiver and soon faded into a narrow pathway enclosed by towering stone walls with the moon glittering overhead.

Jin was lost for words as he and Theo were transported to a massive labyrinth, but what made the experience particularly worse was the fact that he was handcuffed to Theo. Professor Snow clearly had a sick sense of humor, was it even legal for someone to force students to do this. “Wait, so you’re telling us the dangers are real this time, you’ve got to be insane” Jin told Professor Snow shortly before she vanished. Jin had no idea how he would possibly survive this situation chained to Theo, a person with a power useless against holograms.

"It seems the plan worked Sam." Julian said leaning the chair up against the wall.
The room was small and boring. They moved around so much that Sam never took time to find a nice apartment. It didn't really bother Julian a lot, just something he noticed when he got bored.
"That it did." He responded his eyes on the television.
"There are fifteen individuals in critical condition with ten others pronounced dead at the scene. It seems the bus veered off into the oncoming traffic without a moments notice. We will keep you updated as more information is known."
The leader turned the television off, he had heard what he wanted. James had cloned himself and sent it on a bus where it later took over and sent it straight into oncoming cars. This trial run proved a lot for the group. James multiplying ability allowed him to successfully multiply one body and send in on the bus with the idea in mind. It also showed it had to happen fast and not take hours or even longer than fifteen minutes or the clone would do what it wanted.
"We'll try a subway next. See how long it listens to just stay on before it gets off or does something besides sitting down quietly. There are a lot of distractions there between the restless children playing their video games and the workers anxiously waiting to get home."
"Christian should be arriving at NHA within the week. Once he's in he will gather everything I told him to and once I have enough information we can move onto the next phase of the plan." ----------------
Chaz sat up on the roof for thirty more minutes before his eyes began to tire and his body got lazy. It was time for bed and he wasn't going to argue. Jet lag seemed to be non-existent which was nice, but it was also kind of strange.
Shrugging, he decided not to think too much into it and just headed back up to his room. Walking through the entrance and up the stairs to the second story. Even though the school was simple it was nice. He didn't need gold floors to be happy.
Closing his door behind him he threw on some basketball shorts and a USF long sleeve shirt and climbed into bed. Wrapping the blankets around him like a cocoon. Closing his eyes he thought of Henry and his home one last time, praying them to stay safe while he was away; and without another thought he traveled to dream land where anything was possible.

OOC: Lol, the British kid was a USF shirt
"Yeah. Team," DaMarcus murmured, chewing the word of. He began thinking of his own...well, team. Of her. But he tossed it aside.
"Aight, I'm bunkin'. Peace...Avery, right?"
Theo looked around, swallowing hard. At this point, he was willing to believe anything Snow told them...
Which is exactly what she would want!
"Y-you can't do this! This is just another illusion!" he shouted, actually looking to Jin for support. He couldn't decide if his own idea was true, or if he was just too scared to admit what was really going on...

Thinking for a second, DaMarcus saw a vision of his gang sitting around, drinking Gatorade's they had stolen while they played poker in an old row house. That was where they had come up with their nicknames.
"Yeah, they used to call me Phoenix," he said with a fraction of a grin, his fist bumping hers before he turned to head to his room, not knowing he'd see a sleeping British roommate there.

Jin was quite surprised by Theo’s immediate denial of their current situation. “This is the CATT, anything is possible” Jin told him as he looked around at the endless maze. Just what was this lady thinking and why was she playing this game. “Looks like we’re stuck with each other for a while, so let’s get on with it” Jin stated as he lifted up the handcuffs. “But remember one thing, this changes nothing between us”.
