"Yeah, I was the one that broke them up," Calvin butted in, finally catching up to his friend with the attention span of a flea. "Don't know what the hell it was about though. Professor Snow pulled some weird illusion shit and took them somewhere, haven't seen them since."

Drake pointed to Calvin. "Well...apparently you didn't know...but know you do." He said to Chloe. "I don't understand those two's problem...I mean seriously, there's enough problems at this school as it is..." He shook his head and looked down. "Well...maybe whatever Snow did will make them behave..."

"Nothing, just wondering what this Assembly is about," Fayth told Nadya as she joined her. It was good to see Nadya was in good spirits, even after the day before - and just as good to see she was excited to sit with Fayth.

"Any ideas?" she asked.

"Alright, everyone, please settle down, settle down!" Winters called, as the Professors spread out and began passing out pieces of paper, one to each student. On them were a list of names...organized into teams! They were familiar, but some teams had seen new students added to them.

However, on the other side was a set of rules.

"Now, if everyone will take a moment to check out their teams for changes we have made," Winters said as soon as he reached the front of the room once more, "we think these changes will be for the best for each team."

"Who knows," She said, looking at winters before turning back to Fayth.

"Maybe about Yun and Ace again?"

Upon hearing Winter's words, she retorted. "I guess it kind of is."

Listening to what Firehawk had to say, Avery was thinking of the new changes. Does this mean she'll still stay with Hein? She knows that Zek never really does anything. Neither does Fayth. Perhaps it's for those new kids...

Cheshire read the list of teams carefully, relieved that this was all the announcement was about. A chill of excitement shivered down her spine as she read her name on the list. It would appear that she finally had received her first team.

"Congratulations," Cheshire smiled at Hein. She thought that he would make a good leader, if he could get past his low image of himself. Cheshire also directed a shy smile toward Genji. She was glad that she at least knew two of the people on her new team. Fayth and Avery were also on her team, and although she did not know them personally, she had studied the two around campus. Turning her gaze back to the paper, she studied the other teams carefully, interested in the arrangement of strength. A moment later she slipped the paper into her bag and blinked up at the teachers once more, wondering if they were free to go.

Hein stood up swiftly after seeing the teams and extended his hand to Cheshire to help her up from her seat. For some reason he was a team leader, but he was ok with that as long as he wasn't alone."It looks like we will be on the same team, I'm the team leader but don't hesitate to question my actions.." he said as he looked at his other team mates, also wondering if they could get going.

Smiling at them both, Avery felt like extending a hand of friendliness.
"I'm Avery, by the way. I'm a living middle finger to biologists."

"Nope don't know any of them." He smiled. Chaz was only there one night and already he was in a team. He couldn't lie, it was pretty cool. He half expected to have to go through initiation or some type of hazing. Not having to do either pleased him.

Chaz's eye sight went from the list to all the other heroes in the assembly. Each one of them had a reason for being here. Each reason being special in their own way. It intrigued the young man. It was like reading a story every time he met someone new. Now all he had to do was actually meet someone.

Kalina noticed the Jennifer incident and immediately scooted lower in her chair like she expected the Harpee to do that to her. She then looked around for Yami but instead saw Diana standing in the back. She should have noticed her sister before since there was an odd amount of boy students sitting in the front row where she was. Diana tried to smile at her little sister but Kalina crossed her arms and looked away. She looked at the new list and squeaked, "D-D-DaMarcus " she whined and then buried her face in Mark's shoulder about to cry, "He hates me! This is bad! Shiloh hates me, DaMarcus hates me, Genji is gone and I can't turn to Chloe because then she'll hate me too! All I have left is...Lillian...Lillian?! Oh God, Lillian! Oh God! Oh God! I think she hates me too!" Kalina panicked.

Robbie stepped up to the list and blushed a little, almost flattered that even after his abscence the teachers would give him another chance at being the leader of The Boxers (OOC: HELL YEAH, totally rembered our name...). He checked down the list to make sure if there where any new members, people he might have to calculate into Utkin's tactics and to his surprise there was.

"Oto... Oh-toe?... Otto?" Robbie asked himself. He would have to meet his new teammate soon and when he did, it always made a good impression when you pronounced their name right.

"WHAT?" Genji said, getting up with such ferocity he almost knocked over his chair.

"I'M NOT THE LEADER? WHAT KIND OF A JIP IS THAT?" Infuriated, Genji shot Hein a look. He only vaguely knew the boy; in his mind, Hein was just another punk. Genji could let another person be leader. He allowed Chloe to be a leader because he respected her; but who the fuck was Hein?

Well, it looked like the professors trusted enough to actually put Jay on a team this time. Most of them thought his powers were "too destructive" or "had no redeeming aspect to them", but it looked like they finally came to their senses. He started to look around for his group members, before realizing how futile it was. It's not like everyone was wearing name-tags or anything, and he didn't know them well enough to recognize them by sight. Jay sat back in his chair and decided to ask around. "Hey, anyone know this Zek dude? I've got him for a team leader..."

Chaz leaned back in his chair, awaiting to see if their leader would step up to round his group up like cattle. But alas he didn't. Seeing as how frenchy was new he decided to take the initiative to get everyone together. It couldn't hurt to show that he wasn't useless. Going before the podium he looked around for fresh earth (which was hard since it was an outside auditorium).

He did manage to find a potted plant, and summoned the dirt up from it. Standing up he pressed his hands against the wall, but stopped for a second to chuckle. He had almost inscribed the little message in Spanish. He always combined languages or used the inappropriate one when he didn't think. He just always said what came to his mind, which was never good since it was either the wrong language or a combination of a few.

'Minor details.' He thought as letters used the dirt to write on the wall one after another until it read: Samson's team stand over here. The message ending with an arrow pointing to the ground.

"Perfect. I just hope my room mate doesn't throw up some graffiti on this or something."

OOC: Who is supposed to RP Zek in missions? I think it was Robo.

Fayth scanned her piece of paper, and looked at Nadya with concern.

"Hein?" she mouthed, as if the idea was laughable. But thinking about it, he couldn't possibly be a worse captain than Zek had been. Lucky for her, he was out! Now, they had Cheshire, who Fayth could at least identify, and Genji, who seemed kind of loud and annoying, but with good intentions. She wondered if he was going to hit on her.

DaMarcus found himself not even knowing what to make of being on a new team. Not only that, but he was with Kalina - that was good, someone he knew. But Chloe was his Captain? The stuck up French chick? Oh, that would be awesome. Shiloh was the werewolf who couldn't keep his fangs under wraps, and he didn't even know who Lillian was...

Jay stared at the writing on the wall, literally. The professors were going to be pissed with whoever did that for defacing a wall. He waved good-bye to the people sitting around him. "Looks like my team's meeting up."

He walked down to the sign, oblivious to people backing up into him, and waved to the person hanging out by the sign. "Hey, I'm Jay, that's...umm...really useful." He mentally berated himself for saying something as lame as that when meeting someone for the first time.

[Cheshire]

Cheshire excepted Heins hand and stood, but shied back when Genji erupted. She glanced at him sympathetically, trying to think of something helpful to say. She could understand his anger, as Genji seemed like the type who could make a good leader. But his temper was obviously a little off, and a leader needed to be level headed and able to think clearly in tough situations. Stepping over to him she cautiously patted him on the shoulder, her motion stiff, almost like she was testing thin ice.

"The best team can work together as one, without labels or restrictions," she spouted rather randomly, blushing when she realized how corny that sounded. Retreated back from Genji, Cheshire tripped over her own bag and was sent sprawling. Way to make a lasting impression.

When Nadya saw her team, she just let out as mile.

"I'm happy with mine," She said. "It's the same as last time except that Oto kid is on it. By the way, what about Hein?"

Hein immediately threw himself in front of Cheshire to catch her between his arms because he didn't want her to hurt herself(even if he didn't know for sure), as he looked at her carefully with his red eyes. "Be careful, don't want to trip and fall." he said as he placed his two hands on her shoulders and helped her back to where she stood. "The way you talk, maybe you should be leader.."

"Oto? He's kind of a weirdo, like Hein. I dunno, would you want Hein as your Captain?" Fayth replied with a giggle, standing up. She felt like she was supposed to go to her team, or something.

"Everyone, please calm yourselves! That is not all! If you will flip your sheets over, you will find some rules explaining why you're not having classes today - more specifically, what you're doing instead," Winters stated, waving his hands in a motion for everyone to be seated.

"It's gonna be so fun!" burst out Kanti, squealing with excitement, before quieting herself after Winters gave her an amused glance.

"I hope so," he echoed, nodding, "you all will be team building. You will be playing a classic training exercise: Capture the Flag."

ooc: I am controlling Zeke. I just didn't know the captains were supposed to hold meetings for their teams. Is there still more to the gym meeting? Nvm that last part...

Mark looked over the list and saw his team. It was completely unchanged from the last time around when they fought THE HARE. Then he scanned over Kalina's list when he saw her on the verge of tears, "Kalina, your teammates don't hate you. You're nice to everyone, even DaMarcus when he was mean to you. I'm sure your team will come around," He told her encouragingly, putting an arm around her.

"Team activities? Again?"

Chloe had been so engrossed in her conversation with the boys that she hadn't noticed the projection of the updated teams. She was too busy trying to wrap her head around Theo...fighting...with Jin. She turned in her chair to face Calvin and bit her lip in worry, "So...they were fighting and...ah...Professor Snow took them? Professor Snow?!"

Just like everyone else in the school, Chloe thought of Professor Snow as more of an illusion, an empty term, a filler on the roster not really attached to any being. She certainly was as elusive as she was Arctic. She leaned back a little, waiting for some more information from Calvin while redoing her curly bun when she heard Genji's outburst.

Her head snapped around in shock, Genji wasn't on her team anymore?! Then who...

"Oh damn, I think you just got shafted!" Jennifer cackled, pointing up at the screen. Chloe's gaze followed Jennifer's index finger to the screen and a moment later, her eyes widened in shock. DaMarcus? What was his power even?

She caught his scent, a little faint since she'd never got a good whiff of him, and glanced in his direction. There he was, in the back, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, looking particularly scruffy and sour that morning. That boy had probably never taken an order in his life, especially from a girl. Chloe immediately bowed her head into hands and groaned, why her? Why not...Calvin or Hein? Someone who'd actually get along with that boy!

"And so did I, what the fuck?!" Jennifer's screeches cut into Chloe's thoughts, "Sora is the Captain? Are they fucking crazy?! Sora hasn't said a thing since he came to this school! This is a conspiracy! I bet Hyun Lin is behind this, that bitch!"

"Ay!! Jennifer stop!" Chloe hissed, perking up slightly and flinching as if she planned to cup her friends mouth, "Just...just stop,"

Jennifer fell silent, stewing in her own anger and frustration with her set up, but Chloe's worry for Theo had returned. Their last exchange had been so...what happened if he'd been expelled? Somewhere between that, Winters announced the team activity but she was hardly listening. Chloe instead turned back toward Calvin, coolly eying him up and down.

"...you're copying my power now, no?"

She glanced around, knowing that both her and Calvin didn't have much time, they'd both need to rally their teams in the next minute or so.

Unknown to his worried girlfriend...

Theo fell to his knees, feeling a wrenching pain in his shoulder - it was attached to the arm which was attached to the cuffs that were attached to Jin - as it was pulled back. Theo's knees and one arm were on the ground, the other uncomfortably stretched up towards Jin. His wrist had a nice bloody ring around it where the cuffs had ground his skin, rubbing it clean off. He could swear the metal was grating against bone, though a glance confirmed it wasn't true.

That wasn't the only part of him battered. Frankly, he didn't know how they had gotten through the maze at all. Snow must have had some pity on them. He was sure that damned plant-monster thing they ran into near the end was going to eat them.

Every inch of him was aching, his lungs burned. He looked up at Jin, who wasn't any better off. He had to say, he was too exhausted to feel the burning rage he had looked at the other boy with not so long ago. He wondered if it would return...

"YEA! GO TEAM HYUN LIN!" Oto shouted out from his seat. He was pumped. He finally was on a team filled with the cool super-hero type kids. Looks like he was moving up in the world. He quickly turned around to Hien, Genji and Ches.
"Hey, lucky you guys, you get to be on the same team," he said as sincerly as he could. Sure, he liked being on a team, but it would have been a bit better if he had people he knew. Oh well.
